Quotes remain valid for 30 days from the issue date. After this time, pricing and material availability may change without notice.
Acceptance of this quote — verbally, in writing, or by email — confirms you agree to proceed with the work under these terms and conditions.
This quote is based on the information available at the time of inspection or enquiry. If we encounter variations, unforeseen site conditions, or additional work requests during the job, these will be treated as variations and charged accordingly.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. If unexpected site conditions, hidden faults, or scope changes arise, pricing may be adjusted to reflect the additional work required.
A deposit may be required before work begins. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the remaining balance is due upon completion of the job.
If payment is not received by the due date, Sparky Works reserves the right to recover reasonable costs associated with overdue accounts, including administrative and debt recovery fees where permitted by law.
If additional work or alterations are requested, we will provide a separate quote or add it as a variation to the existing quote. Work on variations will only proceed once approved.
You agree to provide safe, reasonable, and uninterrupted access to the property and work area during normal working hours. If access is restricted or the work area is not reasonably prepared, additional labour charges may apply.
If pre-existing electrical faults, unsafe wiring, or non-compliant installations are discovered during the work, Sparky Works may pause work until the issue is rectified. Any additional work required to ensure the installation is safe and compliant will be quoted separately.
Sparky Works retains ownership of all supplied materials until full payment has been received. Manufacturer warranties apply to products we supply, and we guarantee our workmanship for 12 months after completion.
Customer-supplied materials or equipment are installed at the owner’s risk. Sparky Works does not provide warranty for faults or failures relating to these products.
All electrical work is carried out by a licensed electrician and complies with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and Victorian safety regulations. Certificates of Electrical Safety (COES) will be issued where required.
While all care is taken during installation, Sparky Works is not responsible for damage caused by hidden defects, brittle materials, existing structural conditions, or previous poor workmanship encountered during normal installation work.
Work in roof spaces or restricted areas is subject to safe conditions. If hazards such as asbestos, vermiculite insulation, pests, excessive heat, or unsafe structural conditions are present, work may be postponed or quoted separately.
If a booked job is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, Sparky Works reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee to cover time, travel, and administrative costs.
Sparky Works maintains current public liability insurance. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, damage caused by other trades, or events outside our reasonable control.
If any concerns arise regarding the work carried out, please notify us in writing. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve the matter promptly and professionally.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Work scheduled on Saturdays is considered a priority service and may incur a 20% priority service fee on labour to cover after-hours availability and scheduling. This fee will be clearly stated on the quote or invoice where applicable.
